In this passage we look at the nature of viruses and in somewhat simplistic terms, the basic rational of how the body deals
with them. It is taken as fact that viruses are among the first life forms to appear on the planet earth and that they preceded
all other forms of composite cell structures.
As such, they are inevitable and essential as all other life forms developed with them as part of the environment for evolution.
In this examination we are not attempting allopathic terminology nor attempting to describe the subject in medical terms
at all. In this, one looks to the established professions for the excellent research and facilities for investigation and
some of the finest minds of the medical profession. Many millions of pounds are spent annually in research and medical papers
abound.
What I will try to do here is to state my humble view of the subject as a practitioner of complementary methods such as
Acupressure, Chi Kung and massage. I also use crystals and whatever method I consider appropriate, including the psychological
aspect of the one who is found to be infected.
Let’s look at it from the point of view of the virus.
Here I am, happily doing what comes naturally to me. I find myself requiring sustenance and opportunity to replicate. So,
in ideal circumstances, my food is the nucleus and composition of cells. That is also the means of replication. In my first
found form, i.e. when I was first replicated from my predecessor, I look around and I see molecules of water, proteins and
other matter that I need and a lively amount of cells to invade. I am happy.
Then the liquid dries up. I cannot procreate nor find energy source, so I go to sleep. There I stay until I feel either
movement or wetness. Yippee, a glob of liquid. Get in quick and wait for it to be transported to a host environment.
I then find many of my friends have arrived at the same time. So we get together and go hunting. There’s a cell.
Wasn’t it nice that I found it. Bash away at the wall and in I go. Now I can unite with the nucleus and proteins and
divide. As the cell divides, so my gene carries on. It does not matter to me in the slightest what is the composite cell structure.
I do not even comprehend if it is an animal, a fish, a bird or any other form. My environment is very immediate and why should
I care or want to care of any effect I am having on the host multicell structure with an element of mobility. That simply
means I get moved around to find more hosts. Then all my progeny burst out of the cell and hunt for others to invade. What
a grand life this is.
I owe no allegiance to anything other than my purpose to survive and replicate. That is my Tao. In this state I can grow
unimpeded.
As long as I do not upset the apple cart with the host, I will continue in my present form until I die. Even this I do
not even think about as until it happens, I have no experience of it, but then, I have a little edge on some of my friends.
I am aware.
Ah, there are my co-inhabitants of this host, the bacteria. They do a different job entirely and my host relies on them
to perform some of the functions of the host composite form. I have to confess that my friends, the E coli I ( Eric and his
mates ) work with what they call a human. They invaded the human many years ago and took over from the enzyme produced by
the appendix in the changing of waste matter into fertiliser before it passed out of the body. I’m not supposed to know
that.... If they get into any other part of the human there is real trouble.
I do not view the bacteria in any way as hostile to me. They have different needs and do not interfere with me. I have
no need to invade them as I cannot use them for food or replication.
Oops. What on earth is that... I can see some of my friends who have not yet entered a cell being eaten by some white platey
things. They are in amongst the red cell thingies. There were only a few of them when I arrived but now there are many. I
will stay here where I am safe.
The host must have some sort of mechanism to create these things. I will call them killer cells. I will stay here until
they reduce in number and think about how to avoid them. I will change my appearance a little Now I can burst out and hunt.
They seem to have formed some sort of means of identifying my friends. They have hooks and things to latch on to my friends
and then they eat them.
Now if I were to pass through these apertures in the immediate host I can see another tube thingy. All the base material
of the blood which I will call plasma is quite thick but the thinner stuff can get through. I will call that lymph. Yippee,
I’m on my way.
Uh - ho, there is a large container into which all the thin plasma is heading. I will call it a node. It is getting bigger...
There is no way out and different killer cells are attacking me. I will have to hide here in this cell until I get the opportunity
to escape. These other killer cells have decimated all the other of my friends. I’m on my own.
Ah, an opening has appeared into another tubey thing. Quick, go through. The node I am in has shrunk back to its smaller
size. Perhaps it cannot see me.
Another node. I will have to change my appearance pretty quickly to remain undetected. All the killer cells seem to be
going for those of my original form and if I change a little, I can get through.
Ugh, there is a sticky mess appeared. It is not like anything I have seen before. Perhaps the host has taken into it’s
whole mass an artificial means of killing me. Ha ha. It cannot change as I can and I can dance around it..
It must be artificial as it has not got the ability to change. If I can escape it long enough then I will survive. Here
looks a safe place. The plasma that is carrying the sticky mess cannot get in here.
I will call this the spinal cord as it seems to carry all the tingly messages from all parts of the body to the ‘brain’.
Now, if I can change a little more yet again, I can get to the control centre and switch it off.
I had better tell my friends what I have found. Yoo Hoo... Listen to this. I might not make it but they can. This host
has declared war on me. I must seek the means of survival or die.
The best place to hide seems to be where the red and white stuff does not flow easily. Ah, here we are. Safety. I will
name this place meninges in honour of my forefathers. Other wise, I could hide in that little crack in the hard cells. I will
call that bone tissue. I can invade there and the blood thingy cannot get me.
Neither can that artificial sticky stuff. The host keeps trying new sticky stuff, one after another. Why is it doing that
. If I hide here it cannot touch me and I will survive.
Aha, the brain is sending down messages. Beep Beep and getting back Beep BEEP from the bits where I gave been. Lets see
if it then takes that as normal once it has received enough of the Beep BEEPS. Yes it has, now it will not see me at all as
it does not recognise me. I’m free to do what I will.
Uh oh.. The host is getting weaker. All this war has taken it’s toll on the core energy. Serves you right, here I
come in force as you cannot fight me. I will replicate and spread my seed anywhere I like now..
Those white platey things are far less now and I and my friends can roam about in our new form
O.
The viruses existed prior to vast amounts of free oxygen and they need little to survive. The nucleic cell requires more
and without this supply, it dies. Its cell life is by its own nature then less endurable and it is shorter lived than the
virus.
It is then in all essence the pre-requisites of nucleic cell structure of life within a semi permeous membrane. It is aware
of its surroundings and can be invaded easily. However, it is not very mobile and unless some force acts upon it, it tends
to stay within a small area. This is important to remember as its habitual state tends to some extent affect the behaviour
of multicell structures.
A multicell form is anything that combines cells to form a more established or less defenceless structure. It may combine
cells of its own type to form masses of one type of structure or through evolution, use a combination of many types of cell
to the benefit of the whole.
The rule of all nature is symbiosis and compatibility. It does not follow that all cells lives in relative harmony and
the behaviour of some multicell organisms towards others will necessarily be adversity. A simple multicell structure requires
sustenance and a ready form of this may easily be found in the form of other multicell forms. Hence, multicell forms do by
nature hunt and consume other multicell forms. Again, this is important to remember.
In any multicell form there is then an essential means of recognition of what is supposed to be there and what is not.
What is there to provide food and what is there to attack the whole form.
The degree of intelligence needed for this is simply not one of thought but one of conditioning.
The means of identification may be of size, degree of tactility, cilia, prongs or anything that differentiates one multicell
form from another. The composite cell then has a standard size, it is of a certain surface feel and has an increased awareness
to that of the virus. Hence it may pass through membranous tissue with an appropriate permeous structure and not through any
other with a smaller aperture.
The virus is smaller and can easily pass through. Thus it may be transported within or without a cell.
Thus it is that the whole structure, such as a mammal, is contained within a semi permeous skin that keeps the bag of nutrients
and organs in relative place.
Within that wet environment is contained all the essentials to maintain the whole structure. However, it is necessary to
ingest and digest the components necessary to maintain the whole. It is necessary to provide a ready source of oxygen, minerals
and proteins, fats and liquids, vitamins and minerals etc.
Without that supply, the whole dies.
A human is well equipped to forage and hunt for food and other composite life forms that have already gathered the essential
nutrients into one place. Hence, a human depends on other multicell forms for its supply of food. For a human to seek out
single cell forms to eat is not an efficient means of nourishment. The energy expended is not sustained by the reward.
Those who digest other meats find a quick means of getting in the proteins and minerals as something else has already done
it. The amount of food required is then less than those who eat only vegetables. It is well known that the digestive systems
of either adapt to the food supply and in reality, the human needs only very little meat or indeed none to survive.
The big cats, vultures and other predominantly meat eaters still need a certain amount of vegetable constituent matter
which is obtained from the blood of the prey. In a human, a singularly meat diet is completely inadequate. The cat eats raw
meat and when it is cooked, a lot of those edible factors are lost. A ratio of about 20% meat is more than enough. Now we
can start to see the difference between the virus and the host.
The host is more developed in terms of mobility but each of its component cells is more specific in its function. It is
less adaptable and takes longer to mutate.
The means of recognition of unwanted cells is defined by the environment. The defence mechanism is designed only to give
a limited initial full protection and partial thereafter.
Primarily, one thinks in terms of the thymus. In a child it is larger and more adaptable than in an adult. This is quite
simply a matter of environmental origins.
In early man, it was found that within an area with a radius of no more than 25 miles was all the human needed or wanted.
There was food in abundance and water, shelter and the means of fire, clothing and so forth.
By the age of 7 years, any human had experienced the entire range of the known environment and experienced all of the common
infections. It carried down from its parent the colestrum antibodies and the thymus copied these and added to the repertoire
of defences as it encountered other infections.
After that, there was no need to produce any more antibodies and the thymus became an endocrine gland only. Hence, if it
were then to encounter any different infection, the other defences of the body were crucial in attacking the invader before
the need for specific antibodies.
In this day and age, that scenario is no longer true. The body has not adapted at the same pace and the defences are constantly
exposed to more and more invaders without any defence at all in many cases.
In nature there are many chemicals to be found in trees and shrubs that enhance the bodies ability to protect itself. The
destruction of vast tracts of trees and woodland had deprived the human race of the availability of these drugs.
Some of these are now produced synthetically but that has one big flaw. They are not adaptable. Wherever you have a specific
defence then you will create a variation in the target.
As was said earlier, in the view of the virus, ‘it cannot change but I can’.
The human body then is dependant upon its own defences being so quickly adaptable that they may create new defences faster
than the viruses can change.
Of course, the onset of infection may be too rapid and antibiotics will play a serious role in the retardation of illness
until the body can recover. If the antibiotics are not taken for long enough to enable all of the viruses to be eradicated
by the bodies defences, then the virus mutates because that is what it is designed to do and has been doing for millions of
years before man arrived.
Antibiotics do not attack the virus directly. They cannot do so as the procreation takes place in the cell itself where
the antibiotic cannot reach. Similarly, the antibiotic can only be transported by the blood and if the blood does not get
near to the site of the infection, it cannot retard or kill it.
The virus can only be killed when it is exposed and when the host body recognises it as foreign.
If the body does not recognise that, then it will not defend itself. This is true of some sorts of cancer where the body
fails to recognise that there is anything wrong and the cells proliferate.
Thus we must look at the way the body defends itself and assist that process.
The view of the human body.
La de da. Here I am, a fully developed human with an invincible defence mechanism at my disposal. By the time I was seven,
I had travelled far and survived all the infections that I encountered. I had small amounts of infection artificially introduced
into my body to stimulate the thymus to produce antibodies which are extra to those that I inherited. I had measles, mumps
and chicken pox. I had cuts that became infected and won. I had colds and flu and I survived them all. I am fit and healthy
with no gastric problems, no genetic defects and I do not smoke tobacco or drink alcohol, I have taken no narcotics and I
am pure of heart and mind. In this state I am invincible..
I have not appreciated at all that I am separated from death by the thickness of the wall of a vein in my head. I am not
aware that I am ingesting all sorts of un-natural products by way of fertilisers, that I am breathing in toxic fumes all day,
that I am exposing myself to infections from inadequately cooked foods and from contact with other humans, animals and that
the birds drop fetid and infectious excrement onto my food supply. I am not aware that I breathe in infected air and fumes
from aerosols, petroleum, diesel and sulphurous compounds. That the smoke from fires and factories permeates everything that
I have been exposed to. The very environment with its volcanoes and natural phenomena is potentially hostile. I lead a normal
life exposed to irradiated foods, radiation from the sun, from electrical equipment, stress and pollution.
I pet animals and visit houses where there are all kinds of wildlife in the gardens and in captivity. I touch handrails
and lavatory fittings. I swim in the sea near to sewer outlets and I eat lots of shell fish but I do not ask where they were
caught.
I eat foods prepared by others and trust that they have washed their hands. I mix socially and sexually with others. I
am happy.
In this human body are a number of different systems for identifying the unwanted from the wanted and removing the unwanted
from the whole system.
The blood is composed primarily of plasma, red corpuscles to carry oxygen, white corpuscles to carry part of the defence
system and lymph to take the fluid which has passed through the muscles and tissue through a system of ‘lochs’
where the fluid can be cleaned and treated. The liver and kidneys filter the treated lymph, the blood and pass excess fluid
to the bladder for excretion.
The lymph nodes are connected to every part of the tissue system including the internal organs, the digestive tract and
lungs, the skin and so forth. The cardiovascular system is the medium for all fluids needed to transport viable energy foods
and liquid to all parts of the body. It carries the sugars needed for energy and some of the hormone triggers that activate
the system.
The three systems i.e. the arteries, veins and lymph must be considered as interactive and inter dependant.
The endocrine system releases directly into the organs and blood of the body. These are often called ductless glands as
the product of each remains in the body until passed to the exocrine glands or alimentary canal which passes out of the body.
In effect, the pineal gland is the time clock which switches the whole lot on. The pituitary releases hormone triggers
to the thyroid, parathyroid, thymus, heart, kidneys, adrenals, digestive system, pancreas, islets of Langerhans, the ovaries
and testes. I sometimes teach it as a compound household heating system.
There is the on / off switch leading to the control panel. The control panel receives information from the sensors and
delivers what is need as the switches or valves open and close. Instead of a completely electrical circuit the body uses a
combination of electrical impulses and chemical triggers.
If the time clock is out of synchronisity with the sensors, then the whole lot goes to pot. The hormones are released at
the wrong times, the sensors relay irrelevant information and the brain goes into standby survival mode.
All the information needed for survival is in the brain stem itself and the second and third brain deals with the subsequent
evolution attributes attained by the development of the human body over millions of years.
The evolution from brain stem only creatures to man is a complicated series of developmental stages post that brain stem
information.
Hence we might think of the brain stem and the medulla oblongata as the basic survival blueprint. From here, the cerebellum
disseminates the information to various areas of the second and third brain as it does not have the extra wiring circuits
to deal with it. The motor functions are then split to those that pre-existed the cerebellum and higher functions and those
that deal with the mobility attained by the development of the body.
The reasoning and gained attributes are dealt with in the higher brains but the whole system works together. The time clock
deals with both and is the overall controller.
Thus we have a system that is both capable of acting spontaneously and interactively. Very simple when thought of in these
terms.
Many of the individual cells have defined functions and are like the ground troops who are autonomous of the main control.
Then there are cells which receive their orders from operations control directly but once triggered act autonomously.
Hence and for example, a wound to the surface covering is dealt with by the leeching of blood to remove the risk of inward
transmission of infection, by clotting factors that seal the wound and then by the control panel to create new cells to the
pre-ordained manner which existed prior to the wound.
The sensor system is crucial and so is the ability to recognise invaders.
A wound does not immediately cause the generation of bactericides or immune protection as the risk of infection is considered
to have been thwarted by the washing out of the wound by the blood.
On the skin are bacterium and viruses all the time. They are essential to eat the dead cells of the skin, to feed on each
other and prevent the growth of fungi. If however, the staphylococcus gets into the blood, it causes major problems. This
is a variety of essential protection that does transmute and becomes resistant to antibiotics. The super bug is caused not
by natural evolution but by the inadequate treatment of the original form.
Hence the use of antibiotics must be carefully controlled and the use continued far beyond the time taken to destroy the
original infection. Their use also inhibits the production of natural antibodies and often leads to massive side effects.
Now that we have a very simple overview of the subject and have appreciated the complete interaction of each, let us look
a the case in question.
Here I am, a little sensor on the skin quietly relaying info to the brain. I report on the temperature, the wind, the proximity
to other objects, the condition of the skin and with my other friends I report on the tissues under me. The ones at the ends
of the hair trigger muscles to raise the hair to create a layer of static air which can be heated from the blood supply. Others
cause a sharp muscle spasm to wriggle the skin to promote blood supply when it is cold. Clever isn’t it..
Uh-oh, I have been hurt. Tell the brain immediately to move me away. Not quick enough .. Hey, muscles take your orders
from the brain stem before the brain thinks about it. Phew, these reflexes do work well.
I have detected leaking. Never mind, the blood will stop that happening. If the injury is too much, the brain will tell
the muscles to cause the limbs to press hard on the surrounding area and depress the arteries manually. Let it leak out as
that stops the invaders getting in. Now I can report on the damage.
Ah, all is well and now the body will repair naturally.
A few hours have gone by now and there seems to be some activity in the surrounding tissues. Invaders have got in. The
local boys have started to eat them but a few have got into the cells themselves. They will replicate unless they are contained
and the cells themselves are destroyed. Lose a few to save the many. Get the brain to cause the muscles to bring the wound
to the mouth and suck out the badly infected ones. The salt in the saliva will help.
Too late. The virus has infected too many cells. Trigger the immunological system immediately. Why is it not working, can’t
it see them. Panic.
Create more white corpuscles now.. Create new antibodies now. Why can’t thymus hear me.. Help..
Node replies. Ok mate, I will shut my outlets down and expand to accommodate the lymph where the killer cells can get at
the infected cells. They will recognise the virus and transmute it to inert state before passing it to the next node for a
clear up of any that have got through before the lymph goes back into the blood to be filtered and used. The dead cells will
be passed to the gut and removed in the faeces along with the dead blood cells.
If we can get them before the virus mutates, then we will get them all.
If they stay in me too long, that will happen and I will not be able to process them with the cells available to me. Pass
along the line please. Each of my friends in the other nodes are slightly different to me and stand a chance of getting the
invader. In the meantime, I will ask thymus to replicate new antibodies but that will be difficult.
If we get body to bring in artificial help, that will only be selective to the one type and it will help, but might not
cure completely. I will have to have time to get the body to fight the invader.
All out war is now on. The body has shut down non essential functions to minimum and the mobility activity has been reduced
to preserve energy. Plenty of liquids are needed to flush the system out and the general temperature has gone up to open the
exocrine glands to help. The sugars are burning to give energy and the fats are reducing to give the base material for conversion.
Body, why are you still trying to move about . Let us do our job. Go to bed and rest. Why wait until you are totally immobile,
rest now and help us...
I am getting weak now. I have lost the fight... Nice to have worked with you.. See ya... Over and out..
How can massage and Chi healing help.
By stimulation of the muscles and deep fascia tissue , the lymph flow is encouraged.
By careful application of knowledge of how the body works, it is possible to control the rate of flow of lymph and the
release of toxins.
By application of Chi energy, it is possible to reinforce the core energy levels of the body and bring the body from a
point of low ebb to a position of strength.
By careful movement of the limbs, the ligaments, tendons and cartilages are exposed to more blood supply and in turn more
killer cells.
The process is then aided by the reduction of fluid retention and minimising the time that the infection is in the body.
By examination of the blue print and comparison to the healthy human, the brain is stimulated to recognise un-natural presences.
The immune system is then put into the optimum state and all hide away places are exposed to the protection.
The methods then work with the bodies own defences and assist substantially.
Lymph nodes that are engorged beyond a certain point must not be drained without proper medical examination
for carcinogens.
By careful control of the panic factor, the body does not waste energy in useless and futile mental and physical activity.
By careful advice as to the normal safeguards and re-enforcement of the need to rest, the body is encouraged to retain
its natural energy levels.
The comfort that is achieved by the reduction of water retention in the tissues assists in the attainment of normal sleep
when most of the self healing is achieved.
The percussive techniques activate the cilia in the lungs and other ducts that require this action for the movement of
matter through them.
There are few kinds of massage that are deep enough to achieve this. The methods used at The Chi Clinic are for an entire
oil on skin deep massage in all areas of the body. Most other types do not address the deep inguinals or the breasts and where
they are purely superficial ‘ feel good’ therapeutic factor for the relief of stress, they have little effect
on actual injuries. As stress relief and for the conditions attaching thereto or arising from, they are excellent and
the interaction of therapist and client is essential to achieve the desired result.
