There are many works upon this subject and the prodigious study of these volumes is exhausting
and for many, all too time consuming. This is a personal view based on some 50 years of study and experience.
The information given here is by no means the only or best interpretation. It is meant to get you to think for yourself.

Let’s face it. The existence of the 3rd dimension is going to continue whether or
not you understand it. Physics owes you nothing. It does not care or is in any way concerned about your understanding.
It does not invite comprehension and any attempt to comprehend it will never completely succeed.
A person may be born to a family of total non faith and live well in the material world where
success is measured in acquisition, wealth and possession and die in the belief that is the end of the matter. To understand
Tai Chi or Chi Kung is no more than a complete waste of time and to try to philosophise about esoteric matters is also a complete
waste of time and utterly inapplicable.
It is foolish to think that one way of life is better than another as each has a total right
to live their life as they wish.
Ignorance is not a Sin. It becomes a Sin when forced upon others. The bigger Sin
is arrogance.
If we try to understand or have a wish to open our minds to the problem, then we look to Paracelsus,
Euclid, Pythagorus in the first place. Then we look at Carl Jung and his works on the archetypes and other collected
works for the reasons why and how man seeks to obtain knowledge of religious matters.
That will take a year at least.
Why not start with the Old Testament or the Q’ran ?
Before I start quoting, please understand that this is not a study of religion per se. I am
basically a pre-religion Taoist and as such, accept the rights of all to live as they will and simply to wonder at the magnificence
of everything without having to understand it.
I quote from the Penguin Classics Koran, as translated by N.J. Dawood, page 74. 3/190, 191
‘God has sovereignty over the Heavens and the Earth. God has power over all things.
In the creation of the Heavens and the Earth and in the alternation of the night and day, there are signs for men to sense.’
In the King James Study Bible (Thomas Nelson, Publishers) Genesis 1.
‘In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth and the Earth was without form
and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God
said ’’ Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light and it was good. And God divided
the light from the darkness’’ etc.
So both start from the First day when creation had taken place.
We then have to look before this point.
I was a precocious child and in my ignorance, I asked of my teachers ‘ If God created
everything, where did He come from?’. A natural enough question and one that is on the lips of many who have
not found the faith.
It took me 40 years to understand the reply yet at the age of 10, I wrote, ‘ All things
that are capable of being perceived as existing could exist with the striking of a match in a larger world'. Here
was the start of some understanding for me at least, of the need to see things not with the eyes but with the mind.
In Newtonian physics, we find a set of rules that apply well to the 3rd dimension but there
are fundamental differences when we look at sub atomic particles. If we look at the composition of matter itself, we
find, at this time and ability, that each is composed of electrical charges that may be particles or wavelengths but the forces
involved escape our general comprehension.
Still we have not got to the absolute first stage.
Now, if we look at ‘Closed Orders’ who have studied the nature of existence for
thousands of years, we find a commonality in ‘Centre’. Centre cannot exist. It is the middle of the
hole in the bit of paper where you put the compass point. If by definition, centre is a point equidistant from all the
points of a circumference, then it follows that if you can see centre, you have not found it.
If we then look at Eastern philosophy, we find ‘No Thing’. Not the nothing
of English or ‘Rien’ of French but nothing at all. No 3rd dimension whatsoever.
So, Centre and No-Thing are essentially the same sort of approach.
If we extrapolate this further, then we have the point before creation.
Very much a simplistic and quick approach to the matter and of course, there is much more to
it that is better explained by more erudite writers and philosophers.
Here then is the Ultimate Yin. The No-Thing, the black without colour. Black is
the absence of all light.
Ultimate Yang is ‘All thing’. The white with no black.
One cannot exist without the other. That is the Law of Opposites.
Hence, my question as a child is answered that God is all things.
I was asked once, ‘What are those fishy things and what do they mean?’. The
question was posed by a reporter from the Local Guardian and I wrote a piece for the paper which was published in 1995. This
lead to my writing of my first book of instruction to students named Contact Chi Healing.
That has long been surpassed by events and progress in the ways of teaching.
Why did she use that expression? I suppose they do look like fish intertwined.
I was also asked. ’That if everything is in balance, why is the sign not a circle or sphere
of grey?’
If one cannot exist without the other, then there is always Black in White and White in Black.
Man lives somewhere in the middle of the balance.
Hence, I suppose, the expressions such as ‘God, Earth and Man’ as though Man has
the ability to be on par with God or to at least act as mediator between God and Earth. Here we are back to the observations
of Man predominantly take place in the 3rd dimension. That is, after the creation has occurred and deals with the relationship
between God and Man.
Inter involved with this is the perception of ‘Where did this all come from?'
Here I quote from my first book.
‘’ Within my experience of teaching meditation, the levels are as follows. Many
of my students find similar experiences and for the purposes of tuition, I lead with this description. How you may experience
it is entirely up to you and the way that your brain works.
This is only one interpretation. It is one that I teach for safety and to prepare the
student. Meditation is freedom and you may find it as you will once you are confident.
The levels in meditation that I teach are firstly, the Mokosu or finding of inner self. This
is done by focusing upon ‘Centre’, the psychic and spiritual line between Baihui and Huiyin (the Crown & Base
Chakra). The breath is brought into the body and with it the mind starts to follow and then to direct the air Chi.
The second is a visualisation of a meadow on a hill with trees to your right and a small path
leading down to a stream. There is a bridge and on the other side is a gate or portal. In the second level one may leave
the body and fly. I do this with my clients to release them from their bodies in order to reset the standard ‘blue
print’ which I will describe within the texts of the application of the art for healing.
The portal leads to the third level wherein one will firstly encounter a grey mist that clears
to reveal certain almost human-like forms. This is the first level of inter dimensional encounter. These forms
are usually referred to as The Shadow People. In the Chi-Do 26 Form, it is taught to fill your heart with love
of all being. The forms you will encounter will be curious and the first question to be asked of you is ‘How do you
communicate?’. If one replies with hate, disgust or fear, that is what you will get back a hundred fold.
If you reply with the feeling of love, then that is what will be the response. There is no language involved, only sensation.
In the fourth level you will be devoid of all time and space. Existing only now as a mind
you are free from your body. Remember to leave a line always between your mind and body. In all the meditations
that I lead, I use my voice as the connection and the route home. If you do not have a guide in this, do not proceed
further. If you still wish to do so without the benefit of a guide, then it may be a good idea to set two alarm clocks.
Set one at three minutes and another at three and a half minutes.
In the fifth level will come an understanding that it is possible to touch all parts of space
and time at once. One will start to see the route to being one with the whole. That route is in intuition and
to acknowledge that all the information is already within you. All my classes finish with the expression ‘ If
one is but a grain of sand on the beach, then the beach is incomplete without you. Join with love in your heart and
be one with the whole.’ This is the point where you will start to understand what I mean.
In the sixth level is the recognition of this and the realisation that all matter is energy.
All corporeal existence is based on a composite and intrinsic set of immutable laws. These laws cannot be changed.
What you will learn is how they may be put to good use.
The seventh level is the total acceptance that there is no such thing as distinction between
male and female, that all are one and part of the whole. With this comes the full understanding of Yin and Yang, the
constant inter-relationship of all being and the truth.
The eighth level is that of acceptance of being not dependent upon earthly conditioning and
of entering a higher plane of existence. This is where the so called ‘White light’ appears. You do
not die upon entering the light. It is a fundamental and inevitable state where all the doors of knowledge are opened
and the brain realigns itself for the understanding. All the knowledge you will ever need is already within you. It
is the ability to obtain it that has to be learned.
A very few humans enter this state. For those who do, it is life changing and profound.
For those who have experienced it more than once, there comes a precise knowledge of how the brain actually works. It
comes without fear or preconception or so called learning.
Within the ninth level is the becoming accustomed to this state. You will realise that
within this existence the manner of composite forms is set. In the case of a human, that is the Blue Print. It
is the same for all mammals and is only changed by the genetics and lifestyle during evolution. These changes may be
very rapid and certainly within a few months. Whilst the genetics remain the same, the changes occur with diet, exercise,
illness and the state of mind.
Thought and intent are the governing factor here. Where that intent is for good, then
the energies will be taught for that purpose.
The tenth level is the ability to stand in the Creation and to look back at all of this temporal
and perceivable being as one entity about the size of a football, some 300 million light years away. Then to realise
the absolute vastness of all infinity and be able to do so without emotion, awe or fear.
The next trick is to turn round. That is another story altogether.
I wrote at school that all of being could be contained within the striking of a match in a larger
world, if you recall that which I wrote earlier. Some have managed in reality to look outwards.
So, what is Chi. It is the Probability of Improbability. It exists all the time
and is omnipresent. It only takes form with intent. That intent may be controlled or effected with the human mind.
In essence, the mind is capable of anything. What restricts and inhibits it is the learning and indoctrination into
society.
What I am trying to say as clearly as I can is that all of being was created with one thought.
That thought was Love. Who made that thought is for you to discover in whatever religion or belief that you hold.
Contemplate the Tao Te Ching. It is the manner of learning that a riddle is given for
the sake of language only. When the language is ignored and the understanding is gained, then there is only the interaction
for reality. Understand the question to be asked and the resolve is seen.
A tenth level being has no senses. He cannot feel, touch or have the joy of physical Love.
If the tenth level does not evolve, it will die. It is as dependent on the 3rd dimension as we are upon the tenth.
A first level being has only one perspective. It is like existing in a pane of glass.
Add to it a right angle plane and the effect on the mind is monumental. Add another right angle plane and the mind evolves
exponentially and is then capable of comprehension of further planes of existence.
Read the writings of Dr A.S Raleigh in about 1925. He gave a series of lectures on Sacred Geometry
to selected students and I have a copy of that book. Excellent reading.
So the Yin Yang symbol, those two fishy things are an interpretation of the nature of All Being.
Or is it?
I cannot believe that we are the only beings capable of this ability to think. Or
that there have never been such as us many times before, here on earth and elsewhere. Maybe not in human form, but aware
nevertheless.
The same with Chi. Every one and every being will perceive it differently yet there is
only One Truth.
A Rationalist might say 'If it works prove it''
A Daoist might say ' If it works, proof is futile'
What is your view??
Footnote... Since writing the above piece, I have seen a very good explanation of the
3rd dimensional aspects and original thoughts from a version the I Ching. In this, if one erects a tall pole and describes
a full 24 equal segments within the circle of the Solstice markers, then creates 6 concentric rings, the umbra so created
by recording the sun and moon cycle gives the Yin Yang symbol !!! Amazing how advanced was the thinking of Man
so many thousands of years ago.
It is almost Fibonacci !! The Pythagorean Golden Circle can be fitted by a small stretch
of the imagination.
I did check this with the mathematics of Stonehenge and found a good correlation but each was
determinate upon latitude for the umbra. These things were more evident in the latitudes above Cancer and Capricorn
(23.5') and at the equator, different credes and origin mythology arose based on the astral observations in the mid equatorial
ranges.
Fascinating in the extreme. We have'nt really advanced that much !!
It indicates that one must be a little suspicious of ''Conspiracy Theories'' without all the
facts. There is only ever one truth and it is different for every one who views it. Chi rules OK.
