The Bu Yu Kai Karate club is an affiliate to the Chi-Do Association and is run by Sensei Norman James 4th Dan under the Chi-Do Association rules.

The club meet every Tuesday evening at Ripley Village Hall.  For details please contact Norman on 07714 957409.
The hall is approached from the A3 to Ripley turn off and is past the main shops, on the right hand side.

Bu Yu Kai held their Grading on Sunday 23rd May 2010.
An excellent standard was achieved by the students in spite of
it being the hottest day of the year so far.

The results were as follows:-
Tom Kite was awarded  Shodan ( Black Belt )
Thomas Latimer was awarded  Shodan ( Black Belt )
Kelly Vaughan was awarded 2nd Kyu (Brown Belt )
Rhys Knox was awarded 6th Kyu ( Yellow Belt )
Steven Blackburn was awarded 8th Kyu ( Blue Belt )

Well done to all the students and a big thank you to all
the Dan Grades who assisted in the Grading.
