The club meet every Tuesday evening at Ripley Village Hall. For details

The hall is approached from the A3 to Ripley turn off and is past the main
shops, on the right hand side.
The annual Grading was held at Ripley on Sunday the 31st May 09. We were delighted to see Simon and
Mick performing the arts with enthusiasm, skill and good humour. They both well deserve the advancement in Grade.
We were very pleased indeed to see Marie and Anne get the coveted 1st Dan and all those who took part did
very well indeed. It is good to see a club growing each year in this way. A testament to the teaching skills of
Norman, Carl, Mick and Simon who has put in so much effort to the club.
Thanks to all those not grading but turned up anyway to help the others. Including one who cut his
holiday short to do so!!!
Vicky and I were so pleased to see Sensei Chris Thompson as a visitor to the grading. Many thanks
for coming along. Your presence was inspirational and many thanks for giving out the certificates. All appreciated
the honour of receiving them from you.
