Saturday 30th April 2011 - One World..One Breath!

Our 7th year in Nonsuch Park was enjoyed by approx. 200 friends & visitors (our largest event yet!).  The day started at 10 am with Tony reading the Opening Statement from Founders, Bill & Angela Douglas, followed by a mass warm up & healing circle to join in with the wave of Healing Energy started in New Zealand & to focus on those around the world that are less fortunate than ourselves.  Everyone then joined in a mass demonstration of Tai Chi 24 Forms which was repeated 3 times.  The feeling of practicing in the natural beauty of our local park, with the trees all around, everyone moving & breathing together, is a joy & gift to be experienced!  A variety of Tai Chi & Qigong was enjoyed & some very powerful demonstrations were given by Darren Trottman & Heather McLean of Southern Crane Kung Fu & Tai Chi, Alex Swainton of John Ding Academy's Traditional Yang Style, Peter Ling of Bruce Frantzis' Wu Style, Veronica Ashcroft of Longfei Taijiquan Assoc, together with Tony of the Chi Clinic performed Modern Beijing 32 Taijijian (Sword), Tony together with Paul Smith, Simon Nell, Rab Paton, James Norman, Aman Sookdewo showed their Chi-Do Martial Arts applications & Iron Shirt Chi Kung.  What a truly wonderful & memorable day of sharing, playing, learning & experiencing!
