Our Company

The Chi Clinic was opened at it's present location in November 1999.  Tony Hardiman had conducted therapies and taught under that title since 1995 from his house in Stoneleigh.

Tony and Vicky Ahern are partners since November 99 and each is fully qualified in the various therapies offered here.

Tony has practiced martial and healing arts for over 50 years and is skilled in many different therapies.  He was awarded honorary 5th dan in 1997 and Master of Chi-Do in 1999.  He was awarded Gold at the British Championships in April 09 for the Tai Chi 24 forms.

In December 2009, Tony was awarded the highly prestigious rank of SENIOR PRACTITIONER with the Institute for Complementary and natural Healthcare and upgraded on the BRCP.  This is high honour and reflects the 54 years of training and practice that has lead to this award.

Vicky practices acupuncture and massage and teaches Tai Chi and Qigong.  She is 2nd Dan Black belt Chi-do Martial Arts and Senior Instructor in the Lee Tai Chi Centre.  Her reputation for compassion and sensitvity has been built over the last 10 years of training.

Our Philosophy

Below is a picture of our patented logo.  For those who can appreciate the design, the cone of energy has it's peak at the heart chakra and the grounding is within the circle created. The upper sphere is then free and able to obtain the ascension to higher levels of awareness with the grounding needed for all martial and spiritual arts.  All you need to know is here, once you get to start training.
Chi-Do philosophy is one of Mercy from a postion of Strength.  Be who you are, not who you have become by the action of others.

In our classes there is neither ego nor anyone who is superior to any other.
We all have something at which we are good and have skills that others do not possess.
Whatever you bring to our classes will be greatly appreciated.
We will learn together.
