Treatments information.

We offer a wide range of therapies including Acupressure, Auricular Acupuncture, Massage, Lymphatic drainage and Rehabilitation through our classes in Tai Chi, Qigong and other practices.
We do not use any chiropractic or osteopathic manoeuvres, nor forced 'cracking' or sharp neck movements.    Traditional Bone Setting is the original system, used for thousands of years in various forms to alleviate pain and assist with recovery from injury.  It is known worldwide and Mr Hardiman was introduced to this gentle method in 1953.  He furthered his learning with instruction from Chinese and Japanese masters within the context of martial arts.
It is our policy to get all trades or medical persons back to work as soon as possible and do not tie you in to a contract for months of treatment costs.   Many visits are one off for a complete recovery.

All acupuncture is done with single use, sterile needles and swabs.
This clinic offers unique methods of dealing with back pain, injuries and stress.  The practice of deep lymphatic drainage assists recovery from fibromyalgia, morning sickness and pregnancy discomfort, premenstrual tension and imbalances. The usual MOT is a full body check up and treatment.
We effect some 850 treatment sessions each year and have treated over 14,000 individuals since we opened in 1999.   Whatever is your condition, just ring and talk to Tony or Vicky.
Treatments will cost £60 for those in work and £50 for those not working, NHS and services personnel or students of the Clinic.
Classes £10 per person per class, £40 per month for one class per week, £60 for two or £80 for as many as you wish.
Credit cards, cash and Gift Vouchers for a special occasion.
Appointments may be made for Tuesday to Saturday from 9.00 am with late appointments on Tuesday and Fridays.
All massage is oil on skin using fractionated coconut oil and for lymphatic drainage, every part of the body is worked upon.
You will be asked to sign a consent form and the requirements discussed during the initial interview.  Please do not expect the same extent of towelling as in a spa.   This is a remedial clinic where all parts of the body are treated as may be necessary including breast tissue and inner thigh.   You will be asked during the course of treatment that you are comfortable with being touched and of course, you may stop the treatment at any time or ask questions.  Full informed consent is always exercised.
We will always try to find a space for you if you are in pain and local trades persons are helped back to work as soon as possible to do so.  Occasionally, when removing body toxins you may feel the effects the next day and need to rest, drink plenty of water  and do not drink alcohol, strong tea or coffee.   Such a reaction to therapy is not to be construed negatively.  It is the body detoxing.

We cannot guarantee any outcome and advice from a GP or hospital must be followed.

This is very similar to Post Viral Syndrome with the exception that the lungs are badly affected.   This requires several full body lymphatic drainage massages with deep percussion of the ribs to relieve the lungs and allow better perfusion.  We have seen several cases and each is unique.
Our methods are useful in identifying trauma such as post natal, PTSD, assault, break up.  A gentle approach, trust and long experience seems to help many who have experienced such life events.
We are not registered counsellors but offer a safe, confidential space to talk freely and perhaps, find one's own solutions.

You may use the contact form that appears at the bottom of this page.
